WEEK ACTIVITIES, from the 13th to the 17th of October

Here we are again, with the activities programmed for this week!

1- second and last opportunity to do some Online questions to MIGUEL VIDAL 2, Upload your information and questions to the blog by Monday afternoon> For those who want to have Miguel’s help regarding your grasshopper work again, please upload the information during this afternoon, selecting he following category COSYPARAMETRICS 2, and please name the post as, COSY-QUESTIONS 2 + full name. Miguel user name will be “michividal”.

2- Tuesday WORKSHOP INDUCTION> from 14:00 to 16:00, where: Bartlett Workshops. The ones who have not had the induction already this year, HAVE TO JOIN THIS INDUCTION, if not, you will not be allowed to use it during the year.

3- Wednesday session, ONE TO ONE tutorials> from 9:30 to 21:30 in HR140 1.33. Running order (last week the following colleagues asked to go first to allow them join some activities in the afternoon), so please continue the list commenting this post. THANK YOU!

4- WORKSHOP PLAYFUL ROBOTICS. Thursday session, from 9:00 to 14:00 in Computer cluster G.09. With THOMAS PEARCE. In the afternoon, you will start developing your own Arduino project and Thomas will help you with any problem you might encounter. Just one question, How many of you have already Arduino Kits?

*students will work in groups of two and share an Arduino kit

*students who want the complete Arduino Starter kit (which would be the easiest) could team up and send somebody to cool components (clapham junction) and get this:

(I have checked Maplins and they are out of starter kits)

*alternatively, and that’s probably the best option: students talk to their colleagues from unit 14 / unit 23 / unit 9, of whom a lot will have starter kits, and ask them kindly to lend that kit for one day…?

* the final question is How many of you have already Arduino Kits? so we can know what we are going to be getting on Thursday…
